“With light constantly illuminating every part of our lives in new ways, it is always changing how we see things literally and figuratively. This continuous possibility for a new perspective makes lightness mean to me: energy, hope and being alive
I use light and movement in my work to bring alive the stationary structures that symbolize the energy of New York City”.
Justine Miller is a fine art photographer originally from California, living in New York City for the last decade. She’s two thirds of the way to reaching her goal of visiting every country in the world and is an Associated Press Award-winning journalist.
